| The way our bodies and
minds grow, develop, and perform is determined by our nutrition. Our nutritional needs
change throughout our lives and that is especially so when fighting cancer and undergoing
any of its treatments. There
appears to be some controversy regarding a direct correlation between nutrition and cancer
risk or occurrence. It is considered reasonable, however, to consume a diet low in fat,
high in fiber and antioxidants, with plenty of vegetables and fruits.
Cancer and its treatments take a
tremendous toll on the body. Talk with your doctor about taking nutritional supplements
including beta carotene, vitamins A, C, E, and other supplements known to help your body
survive and thrive.
